Founded in 1999 in Pembroke Pines by a group of physicians specializing in Family Practice and Internal Medicine. Each board certified physician has been in practice for over 20 years and have established professional relationships with specialists and laboratory and diagnostic facilities in the area.

Meet the team

Armando De Feria, M.D.

Dr. De Feria is a practicing Internal Medicine physician. He graduated from Ross University with honors with a Doctorate of Medicine and has been practicing for over 20 years. Dr. De Feria completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Leigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Dr. De Feria moved to Pembroke Pines and is the founding physician of Lakeside Medical. His career focus is the care of adults,

specifically the elderly, through attentive listening and careful consideration of each patient. Dr. De Feria is passionate about preventative health and works with patients with each patient to manage chronic conditions while focusing on quality of life.

Lisset Gonzalez Perez, APRN

Lisset Gonzalez Perez graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences in Havana, Cuba in 1999. She relocated to Miami, Florida and decided to follow the nursing path to continue as a medical provider here in the United States. Lisset completed six additional years of

education and training until she earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Ana G. Mendez University to become an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. Lisset is fully bilingual (English and Spanish) and joined the Lakeside Medical provider team in 2021.

Chelsey Perez, PA-C

Chelsey Perez is a Physician Assistant specializing in Internal Medicine after earning her degree from

George Washington University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician

Assistants (NCCPA). She is passionate about educating patients and building long lasting relationships

with patients as their healthcare provider. Chelsey joined the Lakeside Medical provider team in 2022

providing primary care to office patients as well as patients in the nursing home facilities.

Jennifer Nieves Cunningham, APRN

Jennifer Nieves-Cunningham is a Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly two decades worth of primary care experience. She earned her Masters of Science degree in Nursing from Barry University. She has been certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Jennifer has been a provider with Lakeside Medical for over a decade while caring for patients in the nursing home and assisted living facilities and providing management of acute and chronic conditions for office patients when needed.
